Terrain parlementaire

Parliamentary Terrain brought together students from Saint-Etienne and Cluj-Napoca to explore the theme of democratic space in Europe. Before the event, students exchanged ideas and prototypes via digital platforms, creating a conceptual and physical map of “Parliamentary Terrain.” The joint project between ESADSE and UAD aimed to simulate, whether through sensory, polyphonic, or silent means, the power dynamics within the major European institutions.

The performative scenographic setup represented the three main institutions. Depicted on the ground, with distinct colors and materials, they illustrate the democratic landscapes of Europe. This installation sought to demystify European political mechanisms, making them more accessible and comprehensible through a tangible, illustrative representation of these complex structures. The intention was to provide a clearer understanding of the workings of European institutions, engaging audiences in a direct and interactive way. After EuroFabrique, the installation continues to serve as a living document, evolving with new contributions and interpretations, highlighting the fluid nature of democratic processes.
