Symbol Sourc€book
Symbol Sourc€book aimed to act as a dynamic, raw material that engages the collective of students, fostering growth while achieving a series of interconnected goals. During the first phase of the project, the schools organized “image safaris in which students collected images, identifiable or digressive, to create a tangible archive of visual, graphic, typographic, heraldic, numismatic, cartographic, and choreographic signs through which power is exercised and reproduced. The second phase involved activating this collection at the Grand Palais Éphémère. The teams conceptualized the project space as an evolving modular structure, adapting in real-time to the needs of the in-situ productions : a production area, form and image factory, presentation support, and performance venue. The output took the form of posters, editions, stickers, t-shirts, sculpture-clothing, video projections, weavings, and/or objects, all of which were presented within the project space and across the broader EuroFabrique event.
