The Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts (AMTAP) is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the country and the only state institution in the Republic of Moldova dedicated to higher artistic education. Its mission is to provide advanced professional training for specialists in music, theatre, choreography, multimedia, fine and decorative arts, design, and cultural studies, as well as to prepare future educators in arts and culture.

AMTAP’s teaching process is highly individualized, focusing on cultivating artistic personalities through creative and unconventional approaches tailored to each student’s unique talent and character. AMTAP also regularly organizes public events, including concerts, recitals, plays, and exhibitions, both on campus and at city venues such as theatres, galleries, and the phillarmonic.
