HEAR – Haute école des arts du Rhin
The Haute école des arts du Rhin, is an arts school under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and associated with the University of Strasbourg. Based in Mulhouse and Strasbourg, its aim is to promote an original model of artistic education that encourages the porosity and synergy of the arts. It has some 750 students and 150 teachers on three sites, and offers 20 degrees and courses.
Its vocation is to train creators in the visual arts (Art, Art-Objet, Graphic Communication, Design, Textile Design, Visual Didactics, Scenography, Illustration) and performers and composers in the musical field (early music, classical music, jazz and improvised music).
HEAR is renowned for its wide range of workshops and technical facilities, enabling students to discover or develop an exceptional range of practices alongside technicians and specialist assistants.
Numerous partnerships, both with artistic institutions and with companies in the business world, enable students to develop outside the walls of the school in real professional contexts.
