ANdEA

Founded in 1995, ANdÉA brings together the 45 art and design colleges under the authority of the Ministry of Culture. The schools are represented within ANdÉA by more than 230 members: teachers, students, directors, administrative staff, etc., as well as associated structures that share common objectives or environments (higher education in culture, amateur art schools, public preparatory classes for art schools, etc.). This community of art schools works within ANdÉA within the framework of thematic commissions and working groups: studies, entrance exams, research, design, ecological transition, equality, professionalization, international.

Since 2021, ANdÉA has been strengthening its commitment to an international and above all European dynamic, both to support the schools and to ensure that its network is part of a wider geography. This strategy is continuing to gain momentum, with a particular focus on international issues such as ‘proximity’ and ‘hospitality’, as well as European structuring in the impetus given by EuroFabrique, which the association has co-organised with the GrandPalaisRmn and the Ecole des arts décoratifs Paris in February 2022.
